7 Intelligent Things I Want in my Home

After recently rejuvenating my home with fresh paint, gardening like crazy and soft new carpets, I’ve finally turned my mind to getting my smart home in order. We all have hobbies and I unashamedly want my house to embrace “the possible” by creating a living and working environment that is more like a spaceship than a generic 20th Century home.

Nearly every globe in my house is now 16,000,000 colours and can be operated by my phone and voice, whilst my passion for music and media is now satisfied with a very cool Sonos system (in several rooms!), PlayStation 5 and 98 inch TV setup that is sensational for gaming and even better for immersive sci-fi movies. Automating the curtains, blinds, fans and lights should be easy, but I have to admit I have had as many frustrating days as I have had wins. Furthermore, the more I look into all the options, the more I realise how complicated and exasperating it can be to fulfil my vision depending on the amount of money you want to spend, the types of connectivity and technology you want to use and the time and inclination have to reconfigure my house!
